In terms of care, it’s always best to research your specific plant’s care needs as soon as possible. As a general tip to help these fun little guys thrive, all succulents will need:
- Porous, well-draining soil. We recommend using a cactus potting mix or making your own potting mix using peat, perlite, and compost to provide plenty of aeration.
- Bright, indirect sunlight. Most succulents burn under direct sunlight, especially during the afternoon when the sun’s rays are harshest. Outdoors, make sure your succulent has a shaded reprieve during the afternoon. Indoors, try keeping them near an east or south-facing window.

Only water your succulent when the top two inches of soil are dry to the touch unless stated otherwise.
